Butternut was born of husband and wife creative team, Russell and Janis. This contemporary, iconic line of uniquely handmade accessories mixes the histories of knitting and the graphic sensibility of early Modernism. All our designing is done in Brooklyn and largely produced in Nepal by a family-run knitting collective.
